British big cats
British big cat cryptids, often called "Alien Big Cats" (ABCs) or phantom cats, are reported sightings of non-native, large feline predators—such as panthers, pumas, and lynxes—roaming the UK countryside. Often described as melanistic (black) or tan, these elusive animals are frequently sighted in moorlands and rural areas, with popular legends including the Beast of Exmoor, the Beast of Bodmin Moor, and the
