Official Investigations

Official UFO (now often termed UAP - Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) investigations are formal, government-sanctioned inquiries aimed at identifying objects in the sky, assessing defence risks, or researching the nature of sightings. Major efforts include the U.S. Air Force’s Project Blue Book (1952–1969) and current U.S. Department of Defense initiatives like the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
