The Pentagon

The Pentagon is the headquarters building of the United States Department of Defense (DoD), located in Arlington County, Virginia, near Washington, D.C.. Completed in 1943 during World War II, this five-sided, 3.7 million square foot structure houses over 23,000 military and civilian employees. It serves as the primary hub for U.S. armed forces.
